A recipient of the APWA, Northern California Chapter 2013 Feature Project of the Year Award, Haygood & Associates designed the streetscape features and landscape for the $3.2M, Alameda County 'Complete Streets' project.
The improvements transformed the .8 mile long corridor into a livable community complete with decorative sidewalks and plaza, street furniture, LED street and pedestrian lighting, undergrounding of overhead utilities, street trees and landscaped medians.
Haygood & Associates designed the hardscape and landscape features and also provided the visual resources survey and visual impact technical report.
