Fremont Grade Separations Project: Paseo Padre

City of Fremont, California

The photo at right shows the grade separation at Paseo Padre in the city of Fremont which is the grade separation to the north of the Washington Boulevard location. Both were included in the same Fremont Grade Separations project to accommodate the Warm Springs BART Extension and UPRR lines.

The bridge in the near view is for pedestrians. The bridge in the distance is the BART overcrossing.

Haygood & Associates designed the aesthetics for the railings, the retaining walls and the paving. H&A also designed the landscape which had not been installed along the sides of the grade separation as of the date of the photo.
